As field director for Impact, Laura trains and manages campaign organizers in the western United States. She has trained dozens of organizers and thousands of students to be effective leaders in social change movements, led voter registration drives to help register more than 100,000 young people to vote, helped pass a statewide ban on single-use plastic bags in California, and worked on dozens of successful clean energy and clean car campaigns. Prior to her current role, Laura organized campaigns for WashPIRG, OSPIRG and CALPIRG. Laura lives in Oakland with her family, where she enjoys biking, cooking and exploring California's outdoors.
Your donation supports CALPIRG’s work to stand up for consumers on the issues that matter, especially when powerful interests are blocking progress.
