CALPIRG Staff
Pedro Morillas joined CALPIRG’s advocacy team in August 2007. Prior to that, for two years Pedro directed citizen outreach offices for CALPIRG in Santa Cruz and San Diego, building citizen support for CALPIRG campaigns to improve drug safety, enact lobby reforms in Congress, and invest in public transit, among others. In his role as Legislative Director, Pedro focuses on legislative proposals to advance consumer protections, increase accountability and transparency of government spending, limit the influence of money in politics, and improve voter engagement. Pedro graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in political science in 2005. He's based in our Sacramento office.
